  • Give me Liberty; Virginia and the Forging of a Nation – Commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Give Me Liberty highlights Virginia’s leading role in the American Revolution. It explores the continental and global forces as well as the actions of both iconic and ordinary people that brought about a model of democratic government that changed the world.  Sunday,  to Virginia Museum of History and Culture
  • Immigration and Naturalization Ceremony, American Revolution Museum, Yorktown, VA. – May 2025, more details to follow
  • James Monroe’s 267th Birthday – Westmoreland County Ceremony – The 267th anniversary ceremonies are expected to include local and state elected officials. Come to see both the Birthplace House and the exhibits at the Visitor Center. Sunday, October 5, 2025.  See www.monroefoundation.org for the Birthplace location at 4460 James Monroe Highway (State Rt. 205) just outside of Colonial Beach and for additional details.
