  • SailFest:  The City of Richmond and the Virginia Museum of History & Culture are proud to partner in hosting Richmond SailFest, a Sail Virginia℠ 2026 Affiliate Harbor.  June 12 – 14.
  • History Hike on the Capital Trail:  Join the Valentine and the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation for this free historical walking tour during Richmond SailFest! June 13th – 10:00 am
  • Fireworks Display:  America 250 – Fireworks Spectacular. As part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration, Richmond SailFest will light up the James River with the largest fireworks display in Virginia. June 13th – 9:00 PM
  • Roots of Revolution – Shockoe Bottom Walking Tour:  Commemorate #VA250 in Richmond with the Valentine! Step into the past in Shockoe Bottom, one of Richmond’s oldest historic districts, to learn about the struggles for freedom that shaped our nation.
  • Liberty of Death Reenactment: St. John’s Church – June 14th – 1:30 PM
  • IllumiNATION: To honor America’s 250th anniversary, this special event features a breathtaking video art projection that brings the American story to life.  June 25 – 28 at 6:00 PM.
